Batumi Bypass Road
The Department of highways of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is carrying out the construction of the Batumi Bypass Road. The project envisages the construction of a 14-kilometer Batumi Bypass Road. A 2- lane asphalt road, 19 bridge crossings, 4 transport hubs, 5 tunnels and 57 water pipes are being built.
The Batumi bypass road will pass through: Mahinjauri, Gantiadi, Kapreshumi, Salibauri, Peria, Mahvilauri and Helvachauri.
The road currently available runs through tourist and residential areas, which creates problems for the international transit transport moving along the narrow streets. Batumi Bypass Road (along with the Kobuleti Bypass Road) will completely unload traffic in the Adjaria resort zone, allow to avoid traffic jams, reduce the risks of road accidents and will contribute to the growth of transit cargo turnover. Alaghi Logistics is actively involved in the delivery of cargo necessary for the project implementation within the planned time frame.
The project is of strategic importance to the company itself, since once the road enters service, the time of movement of the vehicles owned by it will be reduced, which will further increase the efficiency and quality of services in this direction.
